Thanks to you, we did it.
After weeks of uncertainty, I'm thrilled to share that as of today's Board meeting, Ms. Balmer, Director of DHS Choirs, will remain full-time at DHS. In addition, it was announced that Mrs. Barnhill, Director of HPHS Choirs, will also be full-time at HPHS.
I'm so grateful for all of your help in order to achieve this monumental victory. From sharing the QR code online to showing our overwhelming support at the April 9th Board meeting, your advocacy has been instrumental in achieving the ideal outcome for both DHS and HPHS choirs. Whether you're a student, parent, fellow teacher, or member of the broader District 113 community, thank you for joining the team to support these outstanding directors.

Additionally, I've updated the website with the new Board agenda item and Personnel Notice reflecting the new FTE numbers (you'll notice "1.0 FTE DHS" and "1.0 FTE HPHS" transferred to Ms. Balmer and Mrs. Barnhill, respectively).
